Watch: @SaulWilliams: “Explain My Heart” via twentyfourbit:
It’s been three years since Saul Williams’ last Trent Reznor-produced album dropped as an In Rainbows-esque free-or-five-dollar release, and now the poet/singer/rapper’s first official follow-up LP is on the way. Speaking to Miles Marshall Lewis, Williams revealed that his latest studio effort, Volcanic Sunlight, was recorded...

PSA: Why your iPad won't charge in your car →
Having lost power all of last night and trying to charge my iPad and iPhone in the car for entertainment and alarm clock purposes respectively. The iPhone charged like a champ and woke me up this morning. The iPad didn’t charge at all. Though it’s bluetoothless, wirelessless battery life was a champ for going all night.

Being that I’ve had my Motorola Droid for about a year, I’ve gotten asked for recommendations about apps from a couple of friends. Instead of continuing to resend the same email, I thought I’d share my list here.
All of these applications are usable on a stock, unrooted Android...

Colbert's Incredible Palin Rant →
tristn:
barthel:
It is great, but it’s not a rant, it’s a tightly controlled piece of criticism. This is an extremely well-written bit of sarcasm, like a NYT Book Review pan of Sarah Palin’s entire career - cutting, witty, dry, acerbic, precise. It’s the lack of ranty rage that makes this good. Rather than yell about Palin, he’s simply dismissing her entire life in a minute and a half, and...
