Jonathan Horton's flawless high bar

WOW!!!! Did you just see Jonathan Horton routine on the high bar? It was absolutely flawless. Amazing release moves! No hop or step on the landing. It was a close to a 10 as I have ever seen!

I wish I understood the new scoring system.

Does this count as part of the 2200 hours of live coverage online? I downloaded Silverlight for Safari for this?

I pushed the button...

This week I have seen a printer with a dozen print jobs stuck in it. The first one failed to print, so the person decided to print it 11 more times hoping that would fix it. (It didn’t).

This week I have seen a user’s PC where Outlook would not open up. I remote to the PC and I see now fewer than 27 instances of Outlook.exe stuck in the processes tab. So I close 9 of them and the other 18 open right up.

User’s comment: “Oh, there it is!”

In my head, “Yes, all 18 of them!”

And how do you have a job?

So… my boss just hibernated my PC remotely. All he does all day is trying to find ways to remote into my PC and my fellow help desk tech’s PCs.

He has remoted into my PC and moved my mouse while I am on a call.

He hibernated my PC.

Now I need to figure out how to block his access to my PC through Hyena.

I’ve had a lot of IT managers in my career. He is by far the one I have the least respect for.

Lack of IT knowledge.

Goes to “meetings” for hours at a time.

Leaves early. Comes in late

When I have questions on procedures/training/anything beyond “who do I assign this to?

I am tired of this. I wish I was getting calls back on my resume. I want out!

Edit: Yes, I am pissy. Stressed and really really tired of dealing with idiots in IT. I miss working alone and running my own show. I worked so much more efficiently and correctly than the idiots I have to deal with here. It’s incredible.
